Vertical Bath

The Vertical Bath is a treatment procedure done in a public bath and includes water exercises and water backbone pulling to make the muscle strong and released, improve their trophism, release the pressed backbone vertebrae and functional blocks of vertebral segments.

The Vertical Bath is prescribed in case of:

  • Pains in back;
  • Osteochondrosis;
  • Injuries;
  • Intervertebral hernia;
  • Following the operation on joints resulting in the limitation of motion of the joints;
  • Excess weight;
  • Bad posture.

The Vertical Bath is a water treatment procedure including exercises for pulling backbone and joints. The main pronciple is to pull the backbone and joints under water using special attachments and doing proper exercises. These exercises are individual to meet the needs of patients. After the course the pain in back and joints get less and then are gone away, muscle get strong, joint movement track gets longer, tolerance to physical load gets up, substances exchange is improved, weight is lost and mood gets better.

The Vertical Bath is a small swimming-pool in which people or a group of people do special exercises. First the exercises are done in water in a standing position then in a suspended one using the special attachments keeping body waist-deep in water In the suspended position the backbone is pulled, released from wrong posture or positions of vertebrae and the muscle pain is gone.

The Vertical Bath is recommended both for patients who are prescribed to undergo the physical treatment and rehabilitation course and for everyone who likes but the preliminary advice of a rehabilitation or FMR doctor is required.
